Hey(: i really want to be a flyer, but i have like no back flexibility. I am like a couple inches off the ground in all my splits except my straddle. Any advice on how to gain back flexibility and improve my straddle?

stretch everyday! for your scorpion do bridges and walk your hands in towards your feet, go into a right leg split (if you need your scorpion on your left leg) and lean back and try to reach your leg. also if you stand in a doorframe, and put your scorpion leg up and do splits against the frame, hold the other side and push your body up towards your leg. remember to stretch both sides! for your straddle, sit in a straddle position with your legs as wide as you can and lean to each side and the front. the more you practice the closer you’ll get so go as far as you can into straddle splits and hold it. push yourself out of your comfort zone, but not so that you’re in pain! and remember to breathe! hope this helps, good luck!
